Sorry no referrals for Damp and Timber although I am willing to advise.
No recommendations for Stone Walling or Stained Glass.

One of the commonest causes of damp in buildings is inefficient or blocked guttering. The neglect of simply clearing gutters of debris as part of routine maintenance leads to gutters, outlets and hoppers overflowing and delivering more water to the face of the wall that it can cope with. This can lead to the washing out of pointing, internal damp and the ruining of internal plaster finishes and decoration. I highly recommend occasionally inspecting the performance of gutters during a rainstorm - although plant growth emerging from gutters or hoppers is something that can be spotted at any time! Mould growth, other staining or even washed clean wall surfaces can be an indicator of faulty rainwater goods or waste pipes. I clean gutters to 2 storey height.

I will carry out repairs, upgrading and servicing of both cast-iron and PVC rainwater goods. Please note for safety and practical reasons scaffolding access is necessary for some work.

Below is an example of inadequate guttering provision that caused the washing out of the lime pointing and a severe damp problem internally.
